Parah, the Queen Mother of Rosehall, has matured into a fine, large boned golden sable of about 95 pounds and 261/2 “ tall, with beautiful rich color and a fine head, a credit to 25+ years of Royalair breeding and a tradition we are proud to continue in Parah’s sons and daughters and now grandsons and granddaughters.  She is consistently passing on beauty, brains, and personality to offspring that  become fine companion and assistance dogs.

  At 41/2 years Parah’s kind eyes are ever bright for fun or the day’s adventure.  From her first days as a pup she has been a most fearless dog.  At nine weeks old she waded into the pond and took off swimming for the joy of it.  She delights in retrieving both in and out of the water,  as long as you can throw she will bring it back for more.

  She loves to meet people and is especially fond of children and puppies.  She really is ‘Mama Parah” and loves all puppies not just hers, even helping her daughter care for HER babies.  Parah will open the gate to the puppy pen and let the babies out to play with her.  She is playful, yet a true guardian shepherd carefully watching over the little ones under her care be they puppies or my grandchildren.

  At day’s end, she is a contented house dog lying on the rug, while we watch a movie and share the popcorn of course.
