JETHRO SOLD Jethro is a one year old male that we acquired for consideration in our breeding program. When we are impressed with a pups blood lines, we'll purchase a pup in hopes that all the many variables will work out well so the dog will be a strong addition to our blood lines and therefore improve the breed and strengthen the quality of pups that we can offer families and working situations. Jethro has good size and form and a great temperament for family companionship. He is smart and has worked well in his 'schooling' here and has had no problems getting along with the other dogs here at Rosehall. But . . . he has one weak ear that he has not been able to get to consistently stand. While that seems like a small thing to some people, the breed standard requires that German Shepherd ears stand erect. Therefore this weakness in Jethro disqualifies him from breeding opportunities at Rosehall Kennel and so he will get to live a life of leisure as someone's wonderful family companion . . . or maybe he will go to be a working dog in one of several fields which he might be well suited for.
